Hues of Mommy Nature - WWWG Etsy Treasury

Have once again gotten a Treasury for one of my Etsy teams! I am finding that if I make my poster sketch a few days in advance of the time that the Treasuries will open, I seem to be having good luck catching a opening. Like last week I snagged one for my ESST team, this morning I was working on answering convos in Etsy and I just for the heck of it decided to check the Treasury count. It was at 335 and so in 28 seconds I won one again much to my delight! I think I am kinds of getting addicted to making them :)

PattaRump® Ruffled Baby Pants

Had to show off my new little ruffled panties for girly girl babies! My daughter is a photographer and she asked me to make a pair of ruffled panties for her daughter to model in a photo as a photo prop. When my girls were babies these ruffled panties were called "rumba panties" I have coined the name "PattaRump®" for mine. Hope you like them !!!

Well how weird is this?

I was working on my website and needed to get some info from one of my Etsy listings. On a whim I clicked on the Treasury page and lo and behold, the count was at 333 which is the opening window for grabbing a Treasury. I stared at 333 for a mere second, and to my amazement a Treasury window opened right in front of my eyes! I clicked on it quickly and away I went creating my Treasury. It's title is "ESST Team Mellow Yellow" and it's loaded with lots of beautiful yellow themed supplies for everything from jewlery crafting to sewing, and in between!

Interesting side note is that I actually made the sketch page of my Treasury selections a couple of weeks ago in anticipation of snagging a Treasury in the next few days. BUT I missed the window opening because McAffee started to do a weekly scan of my computer at the EXACT second that I clicked on the Trasury window. My computer locked up and in a few seconds when I was able to once again move my mouse, my Treasury was lost and I couldn't re-claim it.

It really is a matter of luck and or timing to get those elusive treasury openings. This newest one is for my other Etsy street team, ESST (Etsy Supply Street Team)

Loop de Loop My Version

Love to make ribbon loopys for baby gifts. This one I made for a special little girl baby of a friend of mine. Backside is pink pink dots and as you can see the front is made from 4 inch squares of fabric stitched together. I save ALL my sewing scraps and usually can make something fun out of them.

Interesting to note is that I can't sell my loopy ribbon pads as there is a trademark or patent or something on original ribbon tags items. I made a couple of my patchwork versions a few months back to sell from my Etsy shop and was told by Etsy administration that I must remove them immediatly from my shop or face legal action by the Taggy people. I asked if I could changed the name to remove any reference to ribbon or loops and was told NO do NOT try to sell them under any other name. There are STILL many sellers on Etsy selling ribbon loop items and I don't know why I was singeled out for the 2 that I had listed. I'm ceratainly no threat to any big company. Interesting world we live in.

Useless Bobbin!

See what happens on a Monday morning while I am daydreaming, and not paying attention to the bobbbin that I am attemtping to wind. What a mess! I've got the Monday morning blues today and not focused on what I need to do. After making this useless bobbin I tossed it in the trash rather than try to cut the mess apart. I know this on NOT a "green" way of thinking but sometimes it feels good to throw someting away rather than create more frustration by trying to fix it! Bye bye bobbin!
